High Productivity
- The JCB 926 is capable of maximum lift heights of 30'. Combined with a standard sideshift, this allows the easy placement of materials on scaffolding.
- The AMS (Advanced Management System), maximises machine performance and minimises fuel consumption by matching the engine to the hydraulic output.
- Four work modes can be selected for greater productivity and economy: H-Mode for continuous high production or digging in hard ground. S-Mode for general excavating or trenching. L-Mode for lighter duty finishing work or precise positioning. Plus F-Mode for fine work and lifting.
- The ’One-touch Idling’ feature on the servo control lever means that engine revolutions can be dropped to idle at the touch of a button. This reduces fuel consumption at non-productive times.

Operator Comfort
- The control panel and servo-assisted controls are within easy reach. Also, the AMS monitor is easily visible without obscuring the operator’s view from the cab.
- The ’Cushion Control’ feature reduces shock to both operator and machine during excavator operations.
- To reduce operator fatigue caused by cab vibration - especially when tracking at high speed - the cab is mounted on unique combined hydraulic and rubber suspension units.
- The pressed steel cab is spacious and sound insulated, with large safety glass areas for excellent all-round visibility. The front window is spring assisted to slide easily into the cab roof.

Reliability and Durability
- The heavy duty boom and reinforced dipper arm are made for tough excavation work and extracting hard material.
- The track chain is sealed for maximum wearing life - even under the stress of lengthy high speed tracking periods.
- The underguarded frame, turret and track frames are all extremely robust, and are designed and tested for long machine life.
- The extra length and weight of the fabricated frame undercarriage provides a safe and stable operating platform.
|
Serviceability
- The large radiator is fitted with a removable fine mesh grille to filter out debris, maintain cleanliness and provide efficient cooling.
